Royal Pairs Championship round 2 - August 26, 2026
Congrats to the winners from the second round of the annual Royal Pairs Championship! After 5 weeks of competition, these four teams came out on top:
1st - Marlen and Iryna Shustov
2nd - Eva Luebbert and Irene Robb
3rd - Francis Jo (and Rob Reid, spares for Eng Gouw) and Dolly Gouw
4th - Dean and Casey Millward
Northern Novice Pairs Tournament - August 22 and 23, 2026
Congratulations to the Royal Lawn Bowling Club’s team of Elliot Aklilu and Rob Reid for placing 3rd at the Bowls Alberta Northern Novice Pairs Tournament hosted at Highlands Lawn Bowling Club! And an additional shoutout to Francis Jo for coaching the two of them these past few months!
Heritage Day Crazy Bowl - August 3, 2026
We had a great time at our annual Heritage Day Crazy Bowl and BBQ! Congrats to the winners: Nick Turner, Dennis Nolan, and Eng Guow (not pictured), with Hilary Gray subbing in during the last game.
Klondike Quaddie - July 26, 2026
The annual Klondike Quaddie came to a close with the team of Rob Reid, Dawn Aimoe, Casey Millward, and Marvin Kwan taking home the trophy! Thank you to all the Highlands Lawn Bowling Club members for joining us!
