Final Fun Bowl 2026

Saturday October 3, 2026. A final fun bowl before the 2026 season ends. Jerry Close is hosing this event and providing BBQ hotdogs, chips, and ice cream sandwhich before the event. Food from noon to 12:45. Bowling to start at 1:00. Sign up by clicking here so Jerry knows how many for lunch. If we do not get a minimum of 16 people for lunch the BBQ will be cancelled but the bowling will still proceed! Please signup by 5:00 Friday.

Bowling Format:

Two games .... Double or Nothing Day

  • Vegas Bowls ... Bowl It and Roll It with the dice roll determining the scoring criteria...

  • Aussie Pairs Six End games using four bowls

Each one of the six scoring options must be used in a game and only once. Bonus Point for every toucher regardless if your other bowls score or not.

Break for ice cream / coffee and then the second game .... that is the double or nothing part ....

Same game ... Six ends with dice roll determining scoring.

Because in some instances both teams can score, leads will alternate leading off each end.

The dice scoring is as follows ....

  • Roll a 1. All bowls within a yardstick of the jack count one point. Both teams can score

  • Roll a 2. No bowls fully behind the jack count

  • Roll a 3. Team closest to the jack also scores one bonus point

  • Roll a 4. The two closest bowls to the jack are removed before scoring the end

  • Roll a 5. Scoring is Cutthroat, 3,2,1 points for three closest bowls

  • Roll a 6. Boring scoring (normal closest bowl and any other of same team score one point each)

NB ... Aussie Pairs requires multiples of four players to participate. If you are one of the last three to signup you will be considered a spare up until game time but please come down. You will get to bowl a game to be determined.
