Royal LBC - Pairs Championship September 8, 2024

This will be a one day tournament to decide our Club Pairs Champions.  Only club members can register.  There are no fees to register.  9:15 registration and practise bowls, 10AM start.  FORMAT: 3, 8 end games, coffee/snacks provided, bring own lunch.  Register as a team or we will match up anyone that doesn't have a partner by blind draw on the day of the game. (1st game) blind draw for opponent, (2nd game) winners of first game play other winners.  In the event of ties in point total, most ends won in first game will be considered winner for second game pool.  Teams can play "Australian Pairs" or "Regular Pairs" format in their games by mutual consent prior to the start of their game but can't change the format until their next game.  SCORING: 1 point for each end won, 2 points for wins, 1 point for tied games plus total points scored in the game by each team.  If there are ties in points at the end of all 3 games the number of ends won in total for the day will be declared winner.  If still tied a draw to the jack will take place.  Prize will be trophy acknowledgment of winners as ROYAL LAWN BOWLING CLUB 2024 PAIRS CHAMPIONS.
