Royal Variation Fun Bowl 2025

Evening Lawn Bowls with a Twist! This tournament is open to all Royal members.

Join us for a fun evening of lawn bowling featuring two unique and easy-to-learn game variations designed to maximize fun and strategy!

Game 1: Mix & Match Ends (Modified) - Play 10 ends with the following twists:

• 2-Bowl Challenge – Each player uses only 2 bowls per end.

• Second Closest Scores – Only the second closest bowl earns 2 points; hit the jack to score 1 point.

Game 2: Triple Up! - 6 ends of regular play with 3 bowls per player.

• Twist: Score exactly 3 points in an end, and it gets doubled to 6 points!

  • Score 2 → stays 2

  • Score 3 → becomes 6

  • Score 4 → stays 4    

Winners will receive bragging rights and their image immortalized on the club website. Don’t miss out on a fun evening of bowling!
