Gunn Tak Triples 2025 Registration

The Gunn Tac trophy was donated by Dorothy Louie, a Royal member during the 1990s. She dedicated it to her good friend Gunn Tak who loved to play triples. This fun event is open to all members of the Royal Lawn Bowling Club. Triples is also a great format for new bowlers to get to learn the game, etiquette and rules.

This is 2 bowl triples where each player gets to roll only two bowls each end. We will play 3 games of 10 ends each. Please arrive at the club by 9:00 - 9:15 AM to check in and grab a coffee/snack & social time prior to game start.  The teams will be announced at 9:15 and games starting shortly there after no later than 9:30. We stop for our “bring-your-own” lunch after the second game. Coffee, tea, cool drinks and cookies are provided by the club.

There is no entry fee, but the 1st place team will be immortalized with their names on our Tournament Trophy. Of course, it includes bragging rights!

Online signup is required in order to know the amount of coffee/tea, snacks to have on hand as well as plan the random draw for teams.  We will be accepting spares in the signup. We cannot guarantee the spares will be needed but if you are not sure about bowling the entire day but want to come anyway you can indicate you will be a spare. Status of spares will not be known until the day of the event.
